Upon considering this, we realized that while you are in need of your life-blood -- story leads -- a better way to serve you is through the provision of a single e-mailed document containing many story tips and leads from a variety of sources. The format for each story capsule is a brief headline, followed by 6 or so lines of text, concluding with details on how to contact the source for more information and/or how to be sent a complete news release. Some news releases may be available by autoresponder, automating the process even further for you. The copy contained within the advisories will be from the contacts or sources; it may or may not be written or rewritten by us.
Rather than spending hours purusing news releases stacked a mile high, you now will be able to scan one e-mail advisory, get a quick take on story ideas and pursue only those you that interest you.
